A Room of One's Own: Women and Power in North America

Playing around on youtube, I stumbled upon this clip of a woman in military garb talking about how the U.S. military provides women with a "room of their own," so to speak. I was confused by the clip and didn't know what to make of it. So I googled the woman, Coco Fusco, and I found that she is actually a performance artist and writer. Below, I've included the youtube video and a write-up on the piece I found. I wasn't able to find much more about it, and I have to say, I still don't quite know what to make of it. But I'd be interested to know what you all think. Maybe someone more in touch with the art world may be familiar with it? I'm very intrigued. . .
